Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the reservation for a refund less the $30 processing fee. To waive the $30 fee, a reservation can be rescheduled or be converted to a gift certificate to be used at a later time.
Cancellations on reservations made during holidays or special events can not be refunded. Those dates are as follows: 1/1, 7/4, 7/17, 11/26, 12/25
*Please note, there is a 2 night minimum stay on reservations booked during our high season, which are the following dates: June 16th through September 21st.
The lodge and most of the grounds are non-smoking. We do have a dedicated area in the front exterior where guests can smoke. Children under 12 may be accommodated as long as they are in the same room with an adult. The number of people per room is governed by fire regulations, licensing, insurance and available space. Our rooms each accommodate two persons with the exception of two suites where the maximum is four plus a pack and play or portable mattress. Pack and Plays are available upon request. We have one pet-friendly suite available, please call for more details or to reserve (406) 862-5488.
Check-in time is between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. If you are unable to arrive between these times, please notify us so that we can schedule our staff to accommodate your arrival. We are unable to facilitate early arrivals or late departures in order to assure each guest is afforded the courtesy of their full stay with us. Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure.
Parking: Please park in any space that is available. Each space is numbered to help guests locate the spaces. We do not designate spaces per room or guest. If you plan to bring more than one vehicle or a larger than typical vehicle, please let us know so we can make appropriate accommodations.
COVID-19 CLEANING PROTOCOLS:
We take everyone’s health and safety very seriously, including that of our family who live in an adjoining building and our staff who work onsite. We are taking every precaution in and around the lodge to ensure the highest level of cleanliness by following the current guidelines. Guests can expect the typical requirements of keeping 6′ apart and to wash/sanitize hands more often when in common areas of the Inn. You will be seeing our staff wiping down frequently touched surfaces often throughout the day with EPA approved disinfectants. Our staff will be using masks and gloves when necessary but especially when serving the guests. We will be checking staff and guest temperatures upon arrival.
An ordinance was passed in the city of Whitefish as of July 14th, 2020 that requires all staff and customers who are inside a public space to where a mask. We would like all of our guests to follow this protocol when in public gathering spaces of the lodge.
The hot tub will have a sign up sheet. The reason we ask guests to sign this is so we can disinfect the area around the perimeter of the tub for the next guests to use.
We have spaced the dining tables 6′ apart and we will be individually serving the coffee, pastries and anything else we normally have out for self-serve.
Room service will not take place daily. Instead, we ask that guests let us know if linens, towels or anything else is needing replacement or cleaning. We will be changing bed sheets after a guest stays for three days.
We ask that our guests please be patient with us while we navigate these new demanding cleaning protocols. Our goal is that Good Medicine Lodge continues the reputation of top notch service, but without sacrificing safety.
PS. You can still expect our famous cookies that we have been serving for years. Only this time they will be individually wrapped for safety.
